separation of church and state

at first i thought that having one-fourth of my relstwo gpa dependent on church service meant a sure 25%. then i sneak a peek into my evaluation report and see "a grade of 3.5 (superior)". wtf. that's only 24%. i need every last point if i want to be exempted from the rels finals. damn if i have to enumerate the schismal popes [complete with dates!] all over again.

i noticed this about myself - if i take an interest in a subject, i tend to obsess over getting the highest score possible but if i find the subject absolutely useless [anmath, say, or asmprog], just passing is enough.

i just hope i can keep myself motivated 'til graduation. bathala na.
