the best things in life are free

today was exceptionally boring. jiji almost didn't show up while our genpsyc prof just outright ditched us. the only other thing out of the ordinary was that rogi and i had to request for our transcript of records in line with our practicum this summer. i even had to pay double for express processing, just to make the deadline, which is this wednesday. what a ripoff. bureaucracy is such a pain in the ass. i hope to god i'm headhunted soon after graduation. i doubt i'd be assertive enough to look for a job on my own.

at least the day ended on a high note with jomic and i leeching a free dinner off of kimber [salamat sobra], then with reggie and i leeching free beer and videoke off of yot [salamat din sobra].

we ate the aforementioned dinner at pizza hut. the cream-cheese stuffing in the crust was really bad but the apple cobbler ala mode was good so that evened things out, if the fact that i ate for free hadn't already. videoke was in room 25, which incidentally didn't have 'suggestive' visuals. yot proposed that this was the reason why we didn't garner a score lower than 96 this time, as compared to room five, where line-of-eight scores weren't uncommon.

i was a fourth through the eraserheads' magasin when i noticed a tarush in hot pink pekpek shorts leering at me from the adjoining room.

how apt. if only i had such luck with biological females. anyway, aj chose britney spears' sometimes as the grand finale. wrong move, it turned out, since the song's tempo was misprogrammed such that it was twice as slow as it should have been. the song itself was bad enough. sheesh.
