bitter disappointment

my consolation lies in catch2t7 winning the dance competition. retribution for last year, at least. also, the audience liked our original song so at least i have something to brag about. renz mentioned some gossip about how some bands during the acoustic night weren't penalized for overtime. naturally it's easier on the ego to think that, but the way i see it, the better course of action is not giving them any reason to deduct points in the first place. as they say in any annual competition: "there's always next year."

as for the title, let's just say i suddenly realized that those two words are also a perfect description for an issue i've been avoiding recently.
