maligayang batî

sometime after watching harold and kumar go to white castle, paco and i developed a hankering for cajun burgers burgers. in line with this, and with pogz' birthday, we [chudor, dux, paco, pogz, and i] decided to watch a movie and eat at the aforementioned cajun burgers.

paco originally wanted to watch because of you* [don't ask] but due to a schedule conflict, we ended up watching national treasure instead. i was initially intrigued by the plot, but the dialogue turned out to be the more noteworthy thing about the film. let's just say people with bitter streaks would enjoy it a fraction more.

this weekend, aside from the introse and webdeve projects, i also have to think of trish's birthday, my story for malate [due this tuesday], learning basslines for three or four new songs, and possibly making headway in any of the 11 games i've started over the last month.

the fact that there aren't any classes this monday doesn't help - the more free time you have, the less free time you get.

* paco did have a point when he justified that you don't have the right to condemn movies you haven't watched. i mean, although feng shui was a waste of time and money, the plot did show signs of intelligence; what more the "gala event of the year"? hell, they even got a foreigner or two to say it was "wonderful".
