even more flotsam and jetsam
i. lazarus
Latin form of ELEAZAR found in the New Testament. Lazarus was a man from Bethany, the brother of Mary and Martha, who was restored to life by Jesus. Means "God is my helper" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament this is the name of both a servant of Abraham and one of the sons of Moses (see Exodus 18:4 for an explanation of the significance of the name).inspired by pogz, i too have decided to give my pc a name. since it literally rose from the dead last week, lazarus seemed like a good enough choice.
actually, i had originally planned on naming it damien, but the name's
etymology didn't sit well with me.
ii. esperanto
the concept of a universal language is quite intriguing, actually. too bad it never caught on. feel free to
take a look anyway.
iii. shiny shiny
prince of persia sure has come a long way since
1989. the
latest game's a lot trickier to master though, largely due to the controls. the horizontally-reversed mouse camera isn't helping, either.
but did i mention the shiny shiny graphics?
didn't think so.
shiny shiny.
