expatriates in the philippines

jp recently linked me to this blog.

it's the blog of a 'kanô who'd settled in palawan. although he does tend to underestimate the level of urbanization in the philippines [eg: "most houses built for pinoy are built by the owner and his entire family, and the house will be made of bamboo and rattan and nipa leaves."], i think it paints an accurate enough picture of the local color.

i would advise visitors to avoid commenting [whether to encourage or correct], since doing so would undoubtedly and irreversibly influence his future posts.
