i must admit that i took this class with the intent to pick up a girl, using either my musical skills or a lack thereof. instead, i got a roomful of other guys with the same battle plan. the class quickly turned into a jam session with myself as one of the few guys who could more or less carry a tune. ended up singing
ako'y sa 'yo,
ika'y akin for our 'final exam', which i nearly pulled off, if not for the start of the third chorus ["
umasa kang..."].

disappointing, frankly. the only movie to totally catch my attention was
nak'nang, and this only because it used extensive computer graphics.
a date with jao mapa, which won a palanca for best indie film, was near-perfect except for an unnecessarily drawn-out sisa scene. as part of the finale they showed two films from last year,
mulat and that other one where the proponents visit the carabao slaughterhouse. both films were better back when i was relying on imagination rather than vision.

this morning, donjon mentioned that he saw me on
wazzup wazzup about two weeks ago. in connection with a.g. saño's exhibit, i surmised. he confirmed that the shot was of me looking at one of the vandalized photos.
moving on, i haven't watched the following movies yet. if any kind-hearted souls have the dvds and are willing to lend 'em to me, the thought'd be greatly appreciated.
