curse cards

i. algocom: 2.0

as i was leafing through the returned quizzes, i noted two things: that they donate 15 effort points for every 25 point question, and that my score in one four-question exam was 60.

ii. compile: 3.0

a fair grade, given my effort this term in that subject. high enough to justify my not sleeping for a week, yet not so high that i got away with slacking off and|or cutting more classes than i attended.

iii. distrai: 2.0

i was destroyed obviously, mostly due to my not doing the mp. i really should have taken gamesem instead. i blame renz.

iv. introos: 2.0

pick a stupid teacher, you get a stupid grade.

v. litera1: 3.5

a shame considering my midterm essay and final report were both 4.0s. maybe if i hadn't missed handing in one of the four five-sentence book summaries on my brother, my executioner. it might have been.

vi. orient2: p

fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

vii. probsta: 3.0

i wish i'd put in more effort in this subject. not for a higher grade, but because sir bart was teaching it.

this term's average is my lowest so far. i got a higher average the term i failed anmath2 for crying out loud. not that grades are personally important to me, but they are important to securing a job, as well as to retaining my scholarship.

hopefully next term will prove different.
