making a difference

i wonder if i could sell negative goods. maybe cookies. negative cookies. the customers will pay me and then they'll owe me cookies on top of it.

"that'll be a twenty, sir."
"here you go. um, where are my cookies?"
"oh no, sir, you bought negative cookies. i'll be here for the next two hours if you need some time to get 'em."
"huwat!?"
