how bizarre
today i learned that one of the
sigas i often see in church studies at dlsu. my guess is cla, considering that i ran into him in the miguel building. also, his eyebrows were gelled and he was wearing sparkly eyeshadow.
walking from the lrt to the mrt station at edsa, one of the women in a group ahead of me suddenly burst into loud hysterics, then fainted not long after.
at ayala station, the crowd had blocked off the passage to the escalator, so i had to use the elevator. i got off at a twilight-zone-ish half-floor between the ground and second. after around two minutes of cautious exploration, i ran into a man who said that he had been trapped there for the last half-hour. together, we finally figured out how to reach the ticket stiles, which were a flight of stairs and two "authorized access only" doors from where we had entered.
i am usually served mamon or ensaymada while tutoring; today i was given a bowl of
satobap brand korean cornflakes. the name translates to "meal of the village chief". not quite as effective as "breakfast of champions", imho.
the driver of the tricycle i had contracted was unusually chatty for the first half of the journey. then, after a long silence, he asked if i was one of the actors in the recent chippy commercial. i denied this allegation, although i really can't be sure, since i haven't seen it yet.
in hindsight i should have just agreed with him. who knows, he could've been having a bizarre day as well.
