jp and i finally found a vocalist and drummer for the band we're cooking up, both of whom exceed our expectations monstrously. it's exciting really, since the rest of us are more likely going to have to push ourselves talent-wise to keep up.

yesterday, we'd arranged for a studio session to serve as our meet-and-greet, the recording from which turned out rather professional-sounding. if that was the yang to the afternoon's activities, the yin was jp's effects equipment serving as a radio receiver, broadcasting sounds from the next room over via the amplifier everytime his guitar fell silent. i've been searching for a non-paranormal explanation for this phenomenon, but haven't struck gold yet. anyone care to lend a hand?

our schedules allow us common time every tuesday afternoon to jam. looks like i'll be taking this seriously, at least for the next term. if anyone wants to join us for a few beers and possibly videoke afterwards, you may catch us on the round tables outside mcdonalds.
