sorry, all circuits are busy now... please try your call later

i'm sure that i tackled this topic before, but i'd like to reiterate that the collegiate concept of a break is an illusion. i repeat, free time does not exist. forget what your eaf tells you - those numbers that tell you you have no classes at so-and-so time [and therefore you can 'relax' for a bit] are the biggest joketime in the history of dlsu. perhaps if i could let go of a commitment or two [or five] a particle of time here and there would reveal itself, but i can't* so let me just let out my frustrations here. luckily the weekend is coming up so i'll be able to start work on a few projects [this is of course the second-biggest joketime]. never mind that i'm ranting about having no personal time when in fact it's one in the morning and i'm still up, blogging of all things. don't worry, i'll get my comeuppance tomorrow morning, when i arrive late [or possibly absent] for dasalgo.

while purchasing shampoo at sm bicutan's superhypermart [where the hell do they come up with these names?] i mistakenly asked a girl in uniform if they had a bigger container size. she of course had to respond with "excuse me, 'di ako nagtatrabaho dito". ay, bitch.

i had figured that pedance would teach me ballroom dancing [which would come in handy during proms, if ever] but instead i'm stuck learning street dancing. i suppose it could've been worse. at least by participating in this street dancing performance or whatever the hell it is we're practicing for, i'm guaranteed a midterm grade of 4.0 with no written test. i could care less about the 4.0 but the "no written test" clause caught me hook, line, and sinker. plus the fact that i had no choice on the matter anyway so...

sugarfree graced the ampi with their prescence during the ubreak. naturally, i had no idea. paco tells me that they played four new songs. owel. it's not as if i would've remembered even one. i'm slow like that when it comes to appreciating songs - i have to hear a new song twice or thrice over before i can tell whether i like it or not.

nothing else interesting happened so far. tomorrow's payday at least. that should prove to be quite enriching.

why i don't drop commitments: because when you start something, by hook or crook, you'd better finish it. well that's what i believe anyway. the corollary to the commitment rule is of course not to start anything new if other things are still pending. strangely enough i've never paid much attention to this bylaw.
