by now even his supporters are well-aware that peter molyneux is
stark raving mad. but nevertheless, he does hit upon a [dare i say it?] brilliant notion every once in a while.
what exactly
fable 2 is remains to be seen, as mr. molyneux seems determined to avoid house-calls from the
ghosts of fable past, but a hint at a time [such as after the 15-mark on the above video], he's showing us why we can hate him all we want, but we
will play his games.
there's a perceptible distinction between dramatic games and emotional games, and i agree that it is the lovable characters, not the sensational, that win out in the end.
and, let's face it, when it comes to universal appeal,
human characters don't even come close.
